Let’s be honest, January is a difficult month. As the decorations come down after the holiday season, our wallets are hurting, family and friends disperse, the cold and gloomy weather sets in, and there is not enough sunlight. We can all start to feel a bit blue.
Then BAM. Its February, and suddenly it's all about romance. Pink and red, flowers and hearts, gifts and chocolates. Valentine’s day can be joyful and exciting, but it can also leave people feeling lonely or stressed. Romantic love can be a source of mutual support and companionship, which is indeed worthy of celebration, but this month is also a good time to focus on another important type of love, SELF LOVE.
